Jewelry Care Guide
-
STORE WITH CARE
Store your pieces in a fabric pouch or individual box to prevent oxidation and protect them from moisture.
-
GENTLE CLEANING
Use the special Citlali polishing cloth in circular motions to preserve the natural shine of the silver. Avoid abrasive products.
-
CHECK THE STONES
Periodically check that the natural stones are firmly set. If you notice a loose one, bring it to our boutique.
-
DRY IT WELL
If your jewelry gets wet, dry it immediately with a soft cloth. Prolonged moisture speeds up the oxidation of silver.
-
WATER & MOISTURE
Remove your pieces before swimming, bathing, or exercising. Salt water, chlorine, and sweat are silent enemies of silver.
-
CHEMICALS, PERFUMES & LOTIONS
Chemicals, perfumes, lotions, and chlorine damage silver and stones. A simple rule: skin, perfume, clothes… and your jewelry last.
-
DIRECT LIGHT & HEAT
Prolonged sunlight can fade natural stones. Avoid leaving your pieces exposed to heat or direct light for long periods.
-
MIXING JEWELRY
Do not store several pieces together: they can scratch each other. Every jewel deserves its own space to stay flawless.
-
ADJUSTABLE RINGS
1. Adjust the size gently and gradually.
2. Hold the band with both thumbs when opening it.
3. Do not open and close it repeatedly — it weakens the metal.
4. Avoid rough force that could deform its circular shape. -
CHAINS & CHOKERS
1. Use charms proportional to the thickness of the chain.
2. Store it laid out or hanging to prevent knots.
3. Do not pull on the chain; hold it by the clasp to put it on.
4. Avoid heavy or large charms — they strain the links. -
